Capella Sentosa

Had a wonderful 3 days 2 nights stay at the Capella hotel as part of Drama Mama's birthday celebration during July. (think its becoming part of a tradition...)
Ahhhh........ Capella capella.... what can I say.... Be warned! Once you have stayed here, every other hotel pales in comparison!
Exaggerating?
Well, let the pictures do the talking...   =)

View from our room, nice!

The bathtub sure looks inviting...

His & Her basins

First thing to do, try out the bathtub!   =)

Now can anyone tell me who is this little kid??

This pic always gets us laughing away...

This Little Fella sure knows how to enjoy himself!

In-room service. Looks good?

My two Precious

Focus focus...

Blowing out the candle flame carefully

Tata! One more pic before cake cutting

Always time for a family portrait   =)

One of the pools, the hotel have 3 different pools.

A kids' wading pool just nice for Little Fella!

Enjoying the experience

Hunk in the making?

Snorkelling next?

The view from the hotel room was top-notched and the room itself has a well laid-out design along with comfy beds. Throughout the staycation, we lazed around in the room whenever we wanted, went to the beach for some sandplay, swimmed in the spacious pool, ordered room service and dined at Vivocity during one of the nights. We were greeted with smiles everywhere we go and the hotel's service staffs were attentive yet not intruding on the privacy of its guests.

There's really nothing to be complained about except for the fact that a new hotel standard has been set yet again and the little issue of discovering that Little Fella is not used to sleeping anywhere except on his own beloved bed at home, it sure wasn't the case during our last staycation. Now how to get him to sleep when we travel overseas? Hmmm....

Little Fella Turns Two! (2012)

Little Fella had a blast celebrating his birthday last year.

Prior to the celebration, he has yet to grab the concept of celebrating birthdays but by the time he was done with his own celebrations (twice) as well as a dress rehearsal during Daddy's birthday, he came to associate birthdays with delicious yummy cakes, singing of birthday songs, candles blowing, and receiving and opening of presents!   =)

Our living room was fully decked out in one of his favourite theme: Thomas & Friends

The crowd came nearing the end of Little Fella's afternoon nap and he took a while to warm up to them thereafter as he was still a little cranky (as usual) due to his nap being "disturbed".

Soon all that disappeared when he realised that lots of stuffs were waiting for him to unwrap.....   =)

His face began to lighten up....

Hey! I recognise this wrapper....

Hi-Fives were exchanged...

He became quite busy indeed!

Here's some "cooking" with his new kitchen set...

and having a laugh at it    =)

Busy with "other dishes"....

And what's a birthday without the customary birthday cake?

Checking out the cake to his delight....

I think this is when he realises that cakes are yummy, especially the chocolate ones!   =)

Little Fella celebrated his birthday consecutively for two days over the weekend. On the second day with his paternal grandparents, he already knows the drill like.....

Delicious food spread

Opening of presents

and yummy cakes again!

and this is the combined result of two days worth of presents... (together with some existing sets)

Quite a feat right?     =)

Another year older (for daddy)

Cant believe that this is only the first post of 2013........

Really have to "buck up"!

Well better late than never! Here's some pics of Daddy's birthday 2012 lunch venue for a start :

Where is this place, you might ask?

Location is a bit remote so having a car is a plus, lovely surroundings with nice interior furnishings although the food is only average and quite pricey. Overall still worth a visit if you are looking for something different or are into collectibles/retro furnishings.

For me, its who's accompanying me that matters     =)
