The pics with Little Fella on the glider was his first try-out in the park. Now 3 months down the road, he's a real pro at it and even daddy has difficulties keeping up with him on foot, ha!

Conversations with a 32 months old boy
Seems like ages since my last post. Oops! Here's a recent pic of our little boy =)
He is growing up real fast! Here's some interesting conversational moments:
Scenario 1:
Daddy & Son were happily playing in the room when Little Fella spotted an insect...... (those little bugs that are attracted to lights bulb..)
Son: Look Daddy! An insect! ( expecting daddy to go and catch it )
Dad: Yes son? ( walked over and stare at the insect intentionally, expecting son to run off for a tissue (as usual) and to pass it to daddy for "the catch".
Son: < still happily playing with the toy cars and wanted daddy to rejoin him soon >
Son: Daddy, catch it with your (bare) hands!
Dad: No, I don't want to catch it with my (bare) hands. Can I have a piece of tissue please?
Son: < pondered for three seconds between getting the tissue or to continue playing >
Son: Daddy, you can get the tissue on your own!
Son: < continue to play with his toy cars >
Dad: .....
Dad: < stunned by son's replies >
Conclusion: Your kids will know and weigh their options before they turn three...
Scenario 2:
Mummy and Son were in the living room with the little boy busy playing with his toys as usual. It was a hot and humid day and Mummy was seating on the sofa complaining about the weather...
Mom: Aaaragh! I can't stand (the weather)!
Son: Mummy what happened?
Son: < thought Mummy can't "stand" as in "standing up">
Son: < proceeded to pull mummy's hand >
Son: Mummy can you try (to stand up)?
Mom: < laughing away and trying to explain the differences... >
Son: Mummy, can you try your best (to stand up)?
Dad: < In the kitchen having a drink and happen to overhear the conversation >
Dad: HaHaHaHaHa!
Conclusion: Your kids will show genuine concerns for you when they are young, provided they know what is happening!

Gardens by the Bay
We seemed to be on a mission to cover all the latest attractions as we visited Gardens by the Bay on the next day!
The general area is a free public place although the "main attractions" are the three ticketed zones.(two cooled conservatories and another being the OCBC skyway) One good thing about the cooled conservatories, as its name implies, is that it is a large and spacious air-conditioned venue. Thus Little Fella was able to roam around without much restrictions while wifey and I were able to enjoy the place in comfort without concerns over the hot weather.

Due to time constraints, we only went to the Flower Dome on this visit. Perhaps its time for another visit soon?
An overview of the Flower Dome....
As we went during December, certain areas were decorated in Christmas theme to welcome the festive cheer =)
and naturally in the Flower Dome, the flowers will take the central stage:

Overall, we had an enjoyable time during our visit and guess we will be back for more. Cloud Forest anyone?

Updatez part 2
September came and passes by in a flash. Here's some random pics/activities taken during September....

We have been to this playground for a couple of times and Little Fella is slowly getting used to the concept of playing with sand.....
But he still doesn't really enjoy the swing yet. It wasn't long after this picture was taken when he mentioned the all too familiar "don't want" and wanted to come down from the seat... Think Mummy was the one who was more excited about the swing! Ha!
Next up, October updatez and Father & Son's birthday! =)
